This book will be a collection of life stories of African-American
SGL People who have suffered spiritual abuse and/or personal
difficulty at the hand of the black church. The purpose of the
book will be not to just inform the public at large about this
dilemma, but to hopefully let the churches see first hand, from
the mouths of the people that they are called to serve, how
gay-bashing and homophobia is detrimental to the spiritual health
of the individuals, the church, and the community at large.
